Scratch Magazine is an industry known brand dedicated to nails, and I am honoured to share the news I have been nominated for an award! Dressing up, attending such a beautiful venue, who knew that would be me! When I entered my application for the competition, I had no idea or expectation of being picked as a finalist, especially knowing how many beautiful home salons are out there.
But to my utter amazement “I DID IT!”
My little salon, that has only had its new doors open for 5 months, has been nominated as 1 of the 5 finalists in the whole of the UK for, HOME NAIL SALON OF THE YEAR!
But that wasn’t it…
Now comes the next steps, waiting for a mystery shopper to come and have a treatment in the salon. If I’m being honest that terrifies me! I don’t know why; I mean It’s not like I don’t meet new people all the time. But maybe it's nerves, the thought of winning means so much and the thought of achieving something so meaningful when I have put so much into creating my little world, I mean, WOW what an achievement it would be to say “I WON”.
I feel like it would probably be one of my biggest achievements to date but let’s wait and see huh?! If the last few weeks have taught me anything…
Trust your instincts, go with your gut, work hard and play harder, everything will then fall into place just as it needs to but most importantly it isn’t all me…
